Description: You want your work to make a difference; so do we. As a Business Processing Technician with QBE Regional Insurance, your customer service will have a direct impact on our policyholders and agents. Functioning independently in a team-oriented environment, you will receive 50-80 calls per day from our insureds, independent agents and mortgage companies. You will use your customer service skills and aptitude for math and detail to resolve billing issues. To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and should know your way around a computer. Customer service experience is required, with experience in an inbound call center environment preferred. This job will perform in multiple areas of the Consolidated Support Services Department which may include but not be limited to the functions that include: Research and resolve Commercial/Personal Lines issues and inquiries related to premium payment application, policy payment allocation, and premium refunds in a timely and accurate manner; independently process Commercial/Personal Lines new business, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, audits and status changes; review completed applications or endorsements and solicit missing information from agents and transfer information into the mainframe data base. Assigned responsibilities and duration of time spent on them may vary.

Research and resolve routine questions or problems from agents, insureds, and branch office employees on policy transactions or direct bill payments.

Improve processes within the company to increase the level and quality of service provided to internal and external customers. Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.

Required Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED and continuing education related to the job.
1 to 3 years of related work experience in a business environment.

Job Related Knowledge and Skills:

Proficient with PCs and applicable software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Demonstrated ability to learn and perform multiple tasks and jobs simultaneously in a job rotation.
