Job Description:
Communicates with policyholders, agents, and financial institutions by furnishing information concerning premium payment distribution, bank errors and requesting information to complete premium payment processes. Responsible for processing transactions such as policy loans, dividends, premiums paid in advance, multi-year mode, wire transfers, web payments, etc. Promptly updates administrative system prepares checks for daily deposits. Monitors LifeComm suspense accounts for accuracy and maintains records for researching policyholder payments. Identifies and properly handles payments which could extend risk on lapsed policies. Resolves discrepancies in premium payments with customers to ensure payment are posted correctly and handles any complaints resulting from errors.
On a rotational basis employee will be expected to answer calls that flow from the Client Service Unit to the back-up in the department.
Required SkillsQualifications/Skills:
Minimum 2 years of related work experience preferably in an environment that requires handling checks, balancing monies and making deposits; excellent data entry skills sufficient for daily input to system and proficient us of the 10 key calculator; excellent accounting skills as it relates to debits and credits; excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to work well in a team environment; sufficient analytical skills for problem solving; and the ability to pay close attention to detail. * Life-Comm experience preferred
