We are currently looking for a qualified Customer Portfolio Representative to join our Channel team based out of our corporate headquarters in Islandia, NY.

This position is responsible for working within a virtual account team to renew expired Enterprise License Agreements and other renewals requiring client quotes, while ensuring a satisfied customer base and building a sustainable book of business for future success in the defined territory. The maintenance sales executive's territory is aligned to a specific subset of a CA Direct Sales territory and as such, this position works with the Customer Portfolio Managers, Account Managers, Account Directors and Solution Strategists to meet the objectives and goals of the supported area.

The Customer Portfolio Representative is responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue quota goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis and for cultivating leads by assessing unique opportunities and laying out value propositions for customers, including a proactive follow-up. This position will develop a unique follow-up methodology to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of account or territory assignments based on an understanding of the sales opportunities, and will understand and work in all aspects of the sales cycle, including outbound calling, qualifying, proposal creation and presentation, negotiations and the closing process.

The Customer Portfolio Representative will review Customer's expiring license agreements to determine what renewal options are available to the customer, including but not limited to pricing, term and license type, and will present the maintenance renewal proposal to the Customer, and negotiate an acceptable renewal price and term. This position is responsible for preparing and negotiating the terms and conditions of an acceptable contract amendment and will ensure that all approvals (within the acceptable business parameters) are received and documented in accordance with CA's posted procedures.

The Customer Portfolio Representative will provide and interface with the Sales organization to evaluate leads and make recommendations as to the proper focus for the specific customer base and territory and will work with Business Manager, Account Managers, Account Directors, Solutions Strategists and Licensing to review expiring Enterprise License Agreement reports and will ensure that the renewal of expired enterprise license agreements are properly booked and invoiced accurately and in accordance with the standard CA processes in effect.

Key Requirements:

* Typically 2 or more years of business-to-business telesales experience with proven results in a quota-oriented environment and/or previous inside or outside sales experience, and an understanding of technology and technological innovations
* Account management experience and relevant experience in sales for the technology industry, or both, is a plus
* Strong skill set in process execution, change management, customer service, relationship building, written and oral communication, attention to detail
* Ability to interact with all levels within an organization and to manage multiple priorities in fast paced and demanding environment
* Demonstrated ability to research, structure, present and negotiate pricing proposals and read and interpret contract language
* Business travel of approximately 10% or less yearly is expected for this position
* Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent experience in an IT, business or sales related field
