The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking an experienced Custodian to clean Augusta campus facilities. If you are detail oriented, well organized, and take pride in your work, we would like to hear from you. This is a full-time, regular position. The normal work schedule is Monday – Friday 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM. For additional information about UMA, please visit our web site at http://www.uma.edu/.

Wage: $10.51 per hour and shift differential of .40 cents per hour for evening hours. The University offers an excellent fringe benefits package including health and life insurance; paid holidays, vacation and sick days; and tuition waiver benefits.

Qualifications: Requirements: Position requires the ability to read and follow written and oral instructions, work independently, lift up to seventy-five pounds, and to work nights and weekends. The successful applicant must have a high school diploma or GED, valid Class C Maine driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Preferences: Previous related experience.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment physical.
