- Manages a team of staff, faculty, teaching assistants and students to execute a variety of culinary related events.
- Develops an annual calendar of events for the College of Culinary Arts.
- Assists the admissions office with various enrollment initiatives such as open houses, educator programs, career exploration and other career-building activities.
- Assesses and makes decisions on internal and external function requests.
- Researches and analyzes external opportunities to sustain and enhance the image of the College of Culinary Arts.
- Manages culinary programs (e.g. Chef's Choice) by developing new course offerings, marketing specific programs and handling logistics during execution.
- Hosts regular event planning meetings.
- Manages industry partner relations by working with clients to create recipe contests for students, developing team building cooking classes, and hosting guest chefs conducting demonstrations for students.
- Represents the College of Culinary Arts during industry related trade shows and conventions.
- Collaborates with the office of communications in the management of television/media productions that pertain to the College of Culinary Arts.
- Supervises members of various student groups (e.g., teaching assistants, Student Special Functions Team).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
