Doral is adding a Connecticut Project Manager to the Client Services team. This individual is responsible for the implementation and project management, monitoring and ensuring performance with contractual obligations, and client satisfaction and retention. Specific job responsibilities include:

·         Ensure efficient, accurate administration of the State of Connecticut Dental Administrative Services contract and Statewide Dental Initiative program in Connecticut.

·         Responsible for on-going, effective communications and service to the State via on-site meetings, conference calls, and day-to-day interaction.

·         Provide on-going leadership for all Doral staff on administration of Connecticut’s Statewide Dental Initiative, and communicate information accurately and efficiently, to ensure that Doral is meeting and exceeding State expectations, and the terms of the RFP and contract.

·         Proactively identify client expectations, communicate expectations to Doral staff, and ensure expectations are delivered effectively.  Proactively resolve issues and strengthen relationships at various professional levels within the State’s Department of Social Services Agency.

·         Develop and maintain relationships with several key contacts in various healthcare and community-based organizations. 

·         Coordinate with the State on preparation, attendance and support of the Dental Advisory Committee activities.

·         Represent Doral at health fairs, conferences and advisory meetings through the State.

·         Collaborate with Connecticut MCOs as appropriate to coordinate medical and dental health benefits; to implement initiatives designed to increase member access; and to provide dental care education.

·         Increase access for members by developing plans to help strengthen and expand the provider network and to organize and conduct outreach activities to members.

·         Monitor changes in regulations and fee schedules, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

·         Ensure timely and accurate reporting to State.

·         Assist in updating Office Reference Manual, organizing client audits, and the implementation of corrective action plans as necessary.

·         Provide leadership and supervision to local Doral staff, direct the hiring process, train and motivate staff.

·         Responsible for the determination and implementation of performance and wage evaluations, performance improvement plans, disciplinary processes, and terminations for local staff, in accordance with company policy.

·         Responsible for attendance, and company approved time off for local staff as assigned.

·         Update Regional Executive Director regularly on issues, both internal and external.

·         Perform miscellaneous tasks and assist with projects as assigned by the Regional Executive Director.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

 Requirements for this role include 5+ years experience in managing clients, preferably in healthcare or dental insurance, 2+ years supervisory experience, college degree or related business experience preferred. Candidates for this position must also have excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient PC skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), excellent interpersonal skills, ability to travel, sales and negotiation skills, ability to understand and articulate regulatory language, and experience managing cross-functional projects.
