This position has responsibilities in Kansas, Nebraska and parts of Missouri with concentration of business in Kansas City, MO which is the desired location of this individual. Must have the ability to travel 60% of the time. Please note that the Company will not provide moving costs.
Position Summary:
This position is critically important to the retention and growth of revenue inside of Allied Solutions’ financial institution clients. It does so by delivering effective Service, New Product Installations and Basic Product Training and Support on point-of-sale and non-point-of-sale products.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
· Service (20%)
o “First call for help” on POS and non-POS products after they have been implemented
o Follows consistent servicing standards and expectations
o Ensures that products and services are used in a compliant manner and that they are correctly administered
· New Product Installations (20%)
o Ensures that installations happen quickly and smoothly
· Basic Product Training and Support (20%)
o All products are effectively understood, sold and utilized
· Identifying potential sales opportunities to expand the depth and breadth of offerings within the accounts (30%)
· Account Management (10%)
· Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
· Previous experience with one or more of the following:
o Working within a financial institution, ideally in a lending capacity
o Cross-offering of insurance products related to a loan
o Presentation and/or training skills to financial institution staff
· Strong desire to provide fundamental product training to drive revenue on core POS products. Must be enthusiastic and energetic.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to organize one’s own time and tasks
· Ability to interact with and motivate many different kinds of people
· Ability to problem-solve with people around complex product and service issues
· Previous experience with verbal and written presentations to groups of people
· Aptitude to understand multiple kinds of insurance products and services
· Ability to read and apply commonsense understanding to simple instructions, short correspondence, oral/written instructions and memos; previous experience with verbal and written presentation to groups of people
· Intermediate ability as an end-user of personal computer and software programs including, but not limited to Microsoft Office products; Ability to type at least 45 wpm
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
· Strong service focus required
