Description: Job Summary:
As a Marketing Communications Manager you support marketing projects in the areas of advertising and promotional programs, public relations, and trade shows. You participate in the development of plans for product promotions in support of marketing objections, and you ensure that sales professionals have necessary product collateral and advertising materials. You will need exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills; and thrive in the fast paced environment of a growing, global high technology company. As the most senior professional in the Marketing Communications Management group and a subject matter expert, you will utilize your strong marketing background and related experience to positively contribute to and influence the attainment of department's goals and vision.

Essential Functions:
- Prepares materials for internal and external presentations on products, business plans and management communications.
- Lead communications projects in the areas of advertising and promotional programs; public relations and trade shows; and Internet-based communications.
- Collateral project management including meeting project schedules, deadlines, gaining approvals, and meeting established budget requirements.
- Define process for scaling communications globally (e.g. signage, posters, communications, brand guidelines, etc.)
- Create collateral from beginning to completion including creative design for:
Datasheets
Brochures
White papers
Technical reports
FAX documents

- Work with cross-functional teams to develop collateral materials and ensure that sales' have necessary product collateral and advertising materials.
- Support of projects that support the larger vision of collateral hierarchy footprint.
- Document process against measured benchmarks.
- Manage cross-functional team to post content to internal, external, and partner sites including:
Design files
Icons
Visio stencils
New content

- Provide mentorship and support to more junior members in the department.

- 6-9 years corporate and/or agency experience.- Expert level hands-on abilities with:- MS Office 2000+- Adobe Creative Suite CS2+ (AI, PSD, INDD)- Basic HTML (Macromedia Studio Experience a plus.)- Print production process knowledge- Multimedia Production knowledge a plus- Online portfolio preferred - Bachelor's degree preferred Qualifications: Essential Functions:
- Drive consistent brand execution with expert-level graphic design and production of online and printed pieces such as invitations, collateral, PowerPoint presentations, and various other projects in support of marketing programs, trade shows and events, and campaigns.
- Manage appropriate vendors and contractors to produce final deliverables.
- Assist with on-line vendor download site, keeping content current with up-to-date collateral templates, source files, presentations, and other files needed by global design firms and in-house marketing teams.
- Provide consulting on creative development of future online and print templates, posters, multimedia pieces, and interactive tools in support.
- Use innovation to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost, time, and the client.
- Possess problem solving abilities to a degree where each design project is not seen in isolation. The candidate will also be able to look at the `bigger picture' in a creative way and think creatively to produce new ideas.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of creative and execution excellence across a broad range of communications vehicles, including print, web, and multimedia.
- A strong focus on detail and quality of production and execution.
- Collaborate with a variety of sources, and intelligently map the design and execution to the project objectives, in strict keeping with design guidelines and overall brand direction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, still planning and prioritizing, and delivering on committed deadlines.
- 6-9 years corporate and/or agency experience.
- Expert level hands-on abilities with:
