Cherokee Nation Enterprises is the premier entertainment company in Oklahoma. We operate seven Casinos and multiple retail establishments in northeast Oklahoma with corporate offices in Tahlequah and Catoosa. Cherokee Casino Resort in Tulsa, is Oklahoma's finest resort gaming destination. The resort features a 150-room hotel with five restaurants, three clubs, meeting spaces, a gift shop and a championship golf course.

Responsibilities

Works directly with the Senior Mgr. of Creative Services and works directly with the Property Director of Marketing at multiple locations to ensure ongoing advertising messages and all creative pieces are consistent with the brand.  Effectively meets requirements for timely and accurate communication materials.  Assists Sr. Mgr. with planning and will then implement with little to no supervision.   Is the point of contact for each of the assigned  "clients" to improve communication and product.
>Manage and support all media and traffic staff and assists Asst. Creative Services Manager in management of artists and copywriters.
>Ensures that the accuracy of advertising materials are in line with the current strategies and placement.
>Works closely with all assigned "clients" and maintains high levels of service to meet their needs.
>Oversees creative requests from various business enterprises and ensures their design is consistent and of highest quality for strategy.
>Edits/Approves all copy that appears in brochures, ads, posters, newsletters, editorial articles, direct mail, web content, video, radio, television, billboard, internet and promotional messages.  Checks for grammatical errors, accuracy, clarity and brand consistency.
>Edits/Approves all art before going to the "client" to improve turnaround time, consistency, communication and delivery.
>Schedules, attends and documents all Creative Briefings with "clients" to creative and implement all marketing programs and materials as needed.
>Works closely with Senior Manager, Creative Services and "client" to solve marketing problems through smart, well-designed advertising and collateral materials that help sell product while maintaining highest standards for good image and brand.
>Supervise all vendors currently working on "client's" materials.
>Maintain direct and regular contact with "client" to work in a pro-active manner aimed at providing "client's" marketing needs with an early notification; therefore, reducing "rush" charges and unnecessary costs.
>Work with Strategy/Analysis team and Sr. Mgr. Creative Services on all budget planning and recap to insure budget balance.
>Seek, prepare and present creative solutions to combat competition and to keep CNE as the market leader.
>Foster development and mentoring of other personnel on creative services team for successful career ladder advancements for junior staff.
>Other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Marketing, Advertising or Business Degree OR 7 more additional years of experience will suffice. Must have experience in advertising agency or similar environment with a constant, fast paced workload.  Must be able to operate daily in a pro-active, strategic and highly organized manner.  No less than 7 years experience; prefer with more than one agency or in-house agency platform.  Must be able to think on feet and travel as needed.  Must have actual experience managing multiple projects, people and deadlines.  Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures.  Will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Performs a variety of tasks as needed.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.  Printing industry or Production management is a plus.  Work will manage a large workload with irregular hours.  Extremely detailed oriented and ability to multitask is critical.  Communication and listening skills are key.  Flexibility is a must.  Can-do attitude is a must.

CNE Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8-5 and as needed to fit the needs of the company.
