Prestigious private Harrisburg Area Country Club has immediate opening for a career minded, professional, detail oriented and outgoing individual with an accounting background.
A unique opportunity to interact regularly with Members while maintaining a primary role in the financial management and fiscal planning of the organization.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Hospitality Accounting, Hotel or Country Club preferred. An Associates Degree is mandatory.
Critical responsibilities include timely, accurate and professional Membership response and support regarding billing inquiries, Monthly Statements, Membership Activation/Deactivation and other Member related financial matters.
The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and Treasurer, while supervising an Accounting Clerk and Receptionist.
Regular Duties and Responsibilities include:
Maintain A/R, A/P, G/L, Payroll and Payroll Tax data and records
Post member payments, prepare bank deposits, maintain bank accounts
Support fiscal year budget development
Post daily revenues from multiple club receipts
Prepare monthly financial statements, including weekly, monthly and quarterly
cash flow projections.
Reconcile and maintain balance sheets and bank accounts
Report account delinquencies and post late fees
Support Banquet billing and posting functions
Administer and maintain employee benefit records/enrollment
Scheduling flexibility will be necessary to meet financial reporting deadlines
