French Gerleman is seeking an experienced Counter Sales Professional within our Lenexa, KS Location.  This position reports and communicates directly with the Branch Asministrative Manager, and will also communicate and work with the inside sales, warehouse and administrative staff. The right professional will be able to manage customer service on a daily basis to help build relationships and promote repeating business.  This person will be responsible for interacting with vendors for some merchandising, promotions, and training events, and will really be the “go-to” person that clientele will look towards for expertise and knowledge of all product lines. 

 Job Qualifications:

-        Highschool diploma or equivilant.

-        2-3 years counter experience.

-        Knowledge of electrical products.

-        Ability to assist customers through the sales process: offer different products and service solutions when appropriate

-        Handle returns and merchandising

-        Good communication skills for phone in orders/requests

-        Customer service skills a must

-        Must feel comfortable with handling cash and credit card payments

-        Follow policies and procedures for the counter and warehouse areas
