Cost Engineer – Project Controls / Primavera / Petrochemical / Refining Industries / Oil And Gas
Principal Technical Services (Anaheim/Huntington Beach, California)

Responsible for project controls (resource and cost scheduling, production tracking) on major capital projects and programs such as automation, added facilities, radial line & facilities service agreements, and distributed generation. Located in Cypress, CA, 90630 (Southern California)

 

Qualifications:

Thorough knowledge of project controls, project management, engineering, construction, and contract administration and accounting principles

Broad knowledge of estimating techniques including indirect cost development, contingency analysis and construction overheadsThorough knowledge of CPM scheduling techniques, utilizing either MS Project or Primavera P3 Knowledge of Excel and MS Access is also required Typically possesses four or more years experience in the field performing analysis, consulting, and providing recommendations. Preferences: Degree: MA/MS/MBA.Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or related field. Experience in engineering & construction and /or architect and engineering firms in providing project controls on major projectsCost / scheduling experience (5-10 years) in an E&C environment and a BS in Engineering or Construction Management. Primavera and MS Office proficiency a plusPrioritize, plan and manage multiple projects including complex DOD, DOE governmental reportingExtensive use of resource loaded schedules, cost controls, production tracking, revenue forecasting and measurement of financial and physical project performance. Use of analytical tools, Earned Value, Cost Loading, Cost Curves and Resource-Revenue Graphs Realistic resource scheduling and advanced resource leveling Prepare graphical Monthly Project Status Reports using Primavera P3, Excel, Access and Power Point Requires cost scheduling experiences Candidates must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident - No H1B visasPosition located in California.  No Relocation is being offered for this position.  Per diem available to those that qualify
