IMMEDIATE OPENING with a leading project and construction management consulting firm located in Los Angeles, CA. Client is searching for a COST SPECIALIST to join their team on a direct hire basis. The Cost Specialist must have a BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, with 3 years experience using Microsoft Office applications (including Word PowerPoint, Excel and Access), and Project Cost Control Systems (example: Expedition), including Contract Control, Change Control, Contract Cost Control, Cost Forecasting, Invoice Processing, and Document Control. The successful candidate must also have 5 years of Project Controls experience in Education, Public Works or Government agency project work and 2 years experience on a major school construction program. The selected candidate will manage, integrate, coordinate and review the work of Program Controls Specialists to create, feed, reconcile, and maintain valuable program control databases and reports.
