Pilgrim's Pride is seeking a Cost Accountant for our location in Pittsburg, TX. This position is responsible for establishing, accumulating, measuring, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting cost information to internal users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintaining Product costs in an SAP environment
2. Providing analysis and making recommendation relating to product yields and standard values.
3. Providing information regarding product cost and variances as requested.
4. Communicating with other departments, i.e. Research & Development, Sales & Marketing and Industrial Engineering.
5. Must develop a working knowledge of plant processes.
6. Desire to learn SAP and Costing.

• 1-3 years work experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Knowledge of process manufacturing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management effectively.
• Must be flexible and team oriented.
• Ability to handle and meet deadlines.
• CONFIDENTIALITY A MUST.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
