Delaware manufacturing industry leader seeks Manufacturing/Cost Accountant with two (2)+ years manufacturing/distribution accounting experience to join their winning team! Successful candidates will have some exposure to the manufacturing industry and a strong willingness to learn cost accounting. Cost accounting experience+++ Duties and responsibilities will include: assist with month end and year end general ledger close and financial reporting requirements; maintain cost accounting system and standards; special projects as needed; and assist with inventory accounting, including; cycle counts, physical inventories, etc. This position reports directly to the Assistant Controller. We are looking for Cost Accountant that is able to work in a team environment with various personalities!

Qualifications :
Requirements for this position include: a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 2+ years of accounting experience; some exposure to manufacturing and cost accounting; knowledge of accounting principles and practices; strong personal computer skills; especially in Microsoft Excel; and strong communication skills, both written and verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
