Leading Manufacturing service organization seeking Business Manager for Northwest Indiana location. Key duties include: Cost Control Provides analysis and consultation to operations for cost improvement. Institutes the right key performance indicator and monitors daily/weekly/monthly. Responsible for cost trend analysis, including payroll, maintenance, equipment and burden. Optimizes purchasing practices with purchasing department. Optimizes capital expenditures. Analysis, Financial Reporting and Planning Provides analysis and consultation relating to the financial performance of the plant sites. Specific emphasis shall be placed on the Activity Based Reporting (ABR) system. Prepares capital expenditures for approval. Development of the capital budget, annual financial plan and the quarterly updated forecasts with the site management. Lead monthly financial statement review, variation analysis, and month-end close. Controls and Administrative Oversight Assists in the controlling/monitoring of the plant inventory process for spare parts, diesel fuel and finished goods. Sales Contract review and follow up. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Engineering Discipline. Masters degree preferred. Must posses at least 2 years of experience in cost accounting and cost monitoring.
