Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a Cost/Project Accountant for a rapidly growing manufacturing company in the Colorado Springs area. This position reports to the company Controller, and will be responsible for establishing standard costs, overhead costs, analysis, timely reporting and auditing of Purchase Order system. Requires continuous interaction with manufacturing area, materials manager, and engineers. The company is looking for an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills who is detail oriented and able to provide consistent information. Candidates will have BS in Accounting, five plus years experience in accounting, and should have two plus years cost accounting experience. Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets are a must.
