Are you looking to make an impact in a growing consumer based product corporation? An Arizona based manufacturing company is growing and is looking for you to grow within their organization.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Plans, studies and collects data to determine costs of business activity, such as raw material purchase, inventory, and labor.

· Analyzes changes in raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on costs.

· Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic report monthly comparing standard costs to actual production costs.

· Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting costs of products or services.

· Add significant value to the company’s profitability through improving all aspects of cost management in the manufacturing and shipping facility.

· Work with finance group on a regular basis to provide costs of new and existing products.

· Review Biotech financial results on a monthly basis against budget and forecasts.

· Assist accounting in the monthly close in terms of analyzing operating cost variances and make recommendations on the proper timing to recognize variances to the income statement.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

· B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting & 4+ years cost accounting experience working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Advanced level experience in Excel

· Knowledge in Access helpful

 

Competitive salary and benefits $65,000-95,000 a year.
