We are currently looking for a Corporate Sponsorship Director (CSP) for a new startup division within our Events Division. The Corporate Sponsorship Director we are seeking should be a highly motivated, dynamic individual with past experience in starting or building a new division. A successful track record in Corporate Sponsorship Sales and a love of sales is a must.
The Corporate Sponsorship Director will report to and work alongside our Partner/VP, Business Development to develop strategy and maximize opportunities and efficiencies to ensure business growth. Upon reaching agreed upon measures of performance, the CSP will hire, train and manage and build a global department.
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
· Corporate Sponsorship Sales targeting Tier 1 companies
· Designing collateral, packages and deliverables
· Performing personal sales, achieving personal sales targets, leading the sales team by direct example
Attending and participating in Corporate Sales TrainingEstablishing and administering sales policies and procedures in a consistent and equitable mannerProviding weekly reports on sales activities, projections and performance Working with counterparts in other Frost & Sullivan offices to facilitate global integration of products and servicesOverall company sales growth and sales pipeline management Working to integrate Executive Mindxchanges into corporate client relationships with other business units within Frost & Sullivan Working closely with the division senior management in providing sales strategies and new product development Using Sales Logix system for managing sales activities and inter-department coordination.
The candidate will have the following attributes/experience:
· 5 years of displayed corporate sponsorship sales success with 3 years of inside sales department management experience
· Experience and success in starting up or building a new business unit
· Motivating and establishing accountability with salespeople through strong communication and management skills
· Strong analytical skills for applying metrics and measurements in a sales environment
· A bachelors degree minimum is required
· Proven Track record in sales in a business to business environment
· Excellent oral and written communication skills – able to effectively present ideas and information in a professional business environment at a senior level
· Outstanding time management and organizational skills
· Computer literacy and strong analytical skills
· Strong desire to excel in a competitive environment
· Ability to work a with high degree of intensity and follow through
· Must be a strong team player and possess a great attitude
