General Description:
Responsible for the coordination process of opening new field offices, and coordinating renovations and modifications to existing offices.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate the development, relocation, and expansion of the field offices. Order and coordinate the installation of office furniture. Review construction drawings and track construction projects to insure timely opening of field offices. Plan and organize meetings with and give direction to multiple internal departments including IS, Telecom, and Purchasing. Periodic travel to new office locations to oversee office openings and relocations. The position is accountable for multiple projects and their successful completion.
Position Dimensions:
This is a complex project management position. Problem solving skills are critical as issues arise in the construction process, and coordination process. This individual must possess the ability to think on his/her feet, be decisive, and communicate these decisions to others.
This position requires constant communication and coordination with others. The projects require communication with property managers, construction superintendents, landlords, architects, field office management personnel (DBO,CSS), Corporate Controllers, internal IS personnel, and Real Estate Dept. team members.
Important role to structuring and refining the office opening process and the timeliness of these openings. Continuously striving to refine, improve, and shorten the process. In addition, this position impacts the organization by insuring the readiness, functionality, and asthetics of the field offices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
College degree preferred and appropriate business experience.
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:
This individual must be assertive, detail oriented, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and computer skills
