SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for all aspects of internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement reporting for the consolidated group of companies, and three operating subsidiaries.  Position requires well-developed technical, organizational, and communication abilities.    

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Consolidation of financial statements Preparation of financial statements for three operating subsidiaries Consolidation of quarterly forecasting and annual business planning process Coordinate annual audit reports Work with Vice-President of Taxation to prepare corporate tax return Implementation of new financial software Quarterly CEO reporting package presentation Handle miscellaneous projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS degree, MBA preferred 10-12 years of experience with 2+ years experience in public accounting 5+ years experience as a Controller and/or Assistant Controller CPA Ability to work in a team environment and independently.  Be positive, enthusiastic and pro-active Ability to adapt to situations Ability to understand multiple inter-company transactions Ability to work independently and detail oriented Good communication and organization skills Proficiency with Microsoft software products and an ability to understand accounting software packages
