Altec Industries thrives with talented and high-energy associates working in a team environment.  There is an immediate need for a Project Manager, Corporate Communications in Birmingham, Alabama.

 

The Project Manager, Corporate Communications develops and supervises sales promotion, corporate advertising, corporate trade shows and events, media management and internal communications programs in support of the Corporate Communications Strategic Plan.

 

Duties may include but are not limited to:

 

·        Develop and execute company trade shows, corporate events and internal meetings.

·        Develop and publish literature and promotional materials for new and existing products.

·        Develop and implement strategies to provide key corporate messages to all associates and support internal communications programs.

·        Coordinate Altec brand strategies and brand maintenance.

·        Manage and develop the printing and updating of corporate collateral and sales support collateral for Altec and Altec subsidiaries.

·        Write/edit corporate and product press releases, trade magazine editorials, company communications and newsletters.

·        Coordinate media contact and develop media promotion through press releases, product showcases, articles and editorials.

 

 

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field required.

·        Minimum of 3 years experience in an ad agency or corporate communications environment required.

·        Flexibility for overnight travel required.

·        Strong print development background.

·        Experience with prior success in managing corporate promotion, sales promotion, advertising and communications activities within an established budget.

·        Demonstrated excellence in project management, vendor management, problem analysis and resolution collaboration, and leadership required.

 

Successful candidates will effectively interact with other associates, departments, divisions, distributors, vendors and customers.  This position is for the individual with a capacity as a self-starter with ability to work under a moderate level of supervision. Should want to be a confident, dynamic, and successful part of the team.
