Description: Responsible for the financial planning and analysis for eBay’s Corporate Center functions. Such responsibilities include:
Drive and support the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes for supported functional groups. Efficiently track headcount and spending to support accurate quarterly, semi-annual, and annual forecasts.
Become a key business partner and valuable resource to function’s senior staff / executives.
Support month-end close process by performing accruals, variance analyses, tracking financial metrics and delivering management reports.
Define, measure, and explain metrics and indicators that drive operating efficiencies and meet organizational objectives.
Conduct business analysis for functional groups that define strategic direction, improve cost efficiency, and drive change.
Influence business decisions and provide effective analyses for a variety of areas such as lease vs. buy, capital investments, cost reduction, and expense controls.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve various processes including reporting, data gathering, and budgeting.

Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of 7-9 years corporate finance or operational finance experience in a large, established company environment, preferably with experience in corporate FP&A.
The candidate should have a degree in a finance-related discipline, and must possess a deep understanding of finance/accounting
Experience in building annual operating plans and monthly forecasts
Experience in using SAP and forecast planning systems (Khalix preferable)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to build financial models
Experience formulating and drafting presentations for senior management
Strong written and oral communication skills
Exceptional project management, multi-tasking and follow-through capabilities on cross-functional teams
Superb attention to detail and the ability to adjust well to the rapidly changing deadlines and priorities that occur within a high-paced internet company
Possess a highly quantitative/system-oriented approach to problem solving
Working knowledge of PowerPoint
