This position is a critical senior-level sales position focused on selling Honeywell’s extensive suite of solutions to key strategic Pulp and Paper Industry corporate accounts. The position will report to the West Region General Manager, and will work closely with the Pulp and Paper Business Segment leads in driving Pulp and Paper strategic initiatives within the assigned corporate accounts..
Responsibilities: Develop and execute annual global sales plan at assigned Corporate Strategic Accounts. Develop and own the overall sales strategy for the assigned accounts. Lead / coordinate / write select global solutions sales and service proposals for assigned Corporate Strategic Accounts. Work with Honeywell's global and regional sales and support organizations in driving complex sales pursuits for assigned Corporate Strategic Accounts. Achieve annual orders and margin plans for global sales and services at assigned Corporate Strategic Accounts. Achieve pipeline development goals for the assigned Accounts. Represent, to the assigned accounts, the entire portfolio of HPS solutions and services. Lead specific Regional and Pulp and Paper specific initiatives as assigned. Organize targeted awareness programs with regional sales teams as necessary for supporting key strategic initiatives at assigned Corporate Strategic Accounts. Coordinate seminars to key Corporate Strategic Account influence groups (lunch & learn, road show, etc) to stimulate interest / influence strategic direction and identify opportunities for sales. Develop and own executive level relationships within assigned client base to allow for us to understand client business issues and gaps, and foster an on-going communication at the executive level.
Location can be flexible to Green Bay, Wisconsin or Minneapolis, Minnesota
Requirements: Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years successful selling experience in the Pulp and Paper Industry. Prefer 2+ years selling at the Sr. Management level. Experience and knowledge of Pulp and Paper Industry goals, objectives, strategies, and economics. Includes an understanding of the competitive landscape and how to be successful. Bachelor in Science Degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field required. Willing to travel 50-60% of time. Some global travel may be involved. Overall product/solution knowledge and appropriate value impacts to the Pulp and Paper industry that requires in-depth understanding of industry goals, objectives, strategies, and competitive situation. Ability to articulate HW unique business value by developing solutions aligned with overall account strategy Demonstrates compelling presentations skills Exhibits executive-level professionalism Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to successfully deliver messages to all levels of customers, colleagues and leadership Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrates financial/solution/results selling proficiency in building value propositions Develop effective, economically justified product solutions for customers Strong understanding of process control from field instrumentation through enterprise resource plan (ERP) Knowledge of and interaction with worldwide HW organizations and internal processes including estimating, operations, marketing, development Mid West location preferred, but flexible
