Duties:
Build, maintain, and improve the educational robotic platform (EduBot) used in courses ESE112 and ESE313, and in some research. Make mechanical, electrical and software modifications to the EduBot and its supporting infrastructures; develop and improve the course material;coordinate the efforts of teaching assistants and lab assistants, maintain and coordinate the maintenance of the ESE undergraduate labs (Ketterer Lab, RCALab, and Senior Design Lab) and their equipment; maintain necessary stock of components; help students with lab experiments and projects..
Qualifications:
B/S in Electrical or Computer Engineering and one to three years of related laboratory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with basic machine shop skills, circuit design, linux, C / Java, Matlab, and LabVIEW. Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
