Gay Men's Health Crisis seeks Coordinator, Benefits/HRIS to coordinate Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and benefit administration activities, as well as the office management of the Department. Specific responsibilities include managing, developing, implementing, maintaining and coordinating computerized human resources information systems (HRIS), training department and organizational staff on system access and utilization, preparing and communicating information to employees and former employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures and providing service to employees around benefit questions, problem resolution, and processing enrollment forms and changes. Other duties include managing the administrative component of the performance evaluation process, coordinating the agency’s annual Open-Enrollment activities and managing the agency’s room reservation system. BA/BS in Human Resources Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience is required. Proven experience in office administration in a Human Resources setting is required, along with hands-on experience working with window-based database (Access) software. Strong working knowledge of ADP HR Benefits software and Reportsmith is a plus. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work independently and to balance multiple projects successfully, superior administrative, clerical and computer skills with working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet and database applications excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, and the ability to represent the department and the agency with professionalism, including discretion and sensitivity to confidential matters. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
