FULL TIME COOK:
Responsibilities include - daily preparation of lunch and dinner for clients and staff; review, purging and rotation of perishables and dry foods as needed; preparation of lunch and dinner menus one month in advance; inventory of food and review of menus to prepare food order from vendor weekly; maintenance of all kitchen equipment and ware; supplementing meals baking or cooking overstock food items, baking desserts; portion control.
Qualifications include - Must have high school diploma or GED; Culinary Arts or degree preferred; proven experience in restaurant or cafeteria cooking; knowledge of routine facility and maintenance a plus; good interpersonal skills; possession of or working toward (with our assistance) ServSafe Certification; must pass a criminal background check and drug screen; The right candidate is a non-smoker who is willing to sign the NEAM statement of faith. Must have three years of continuous sobriety.
