Position Description:

COLFOR Mfg., Inc. is a leader in the engineering, design and manufacturing of cold, warm and precision machined forgings for trucks, sport utility vehicles and passenger cars. Currently, this TS-16949 and ISO-14001 registered OEM supplier has an employment opportunity for a Controls Engineer in our Minerva, Ohio facility. In this position you will troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, produce electrical schematics and update existing drawings with the use of C.A.D. system. You will be involved in relevant equipment procurement and insure new equipment meets or exceeds the corporate equipment purchase specifications. Additionally, you will provide assistance to manufacturing when required to insure that we maximize equipment utilization. REQUIREMENTS: - B.S. in Electrical Engineering - Experience in Controls Engineering with plant floor experience preferred. - Working knowledge of PLC's, three-phase 480 volt, control circuitry, motor and controls, hydraulics and pneumatics. - Availability to work on any weekday shift as well as for weekend overtime as required. - Thorough knowledge of safety requirements involving electrical engineering.
