Genova Diagnostics is a fully accredited medical laboratory, certified in the areas of clinical chemistry, bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, virology, microbiology, non-syphilis serology, general immunology, hematology, toxicology, as well as molecular genetics by six separate health agencies including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services which oversees clinical labs in the United States under the federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA).

The Controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for the general accounting functions of the company, and for supervising the accounting team.

Other responsibilities will include:

Corrdination of month end accounting and close

Coordination of preparation of US, UK and consolidated monthly financial reports

Management of the general ledger system

Coordination of the annual budget process, and quarterly forecasting

Coordination of the year end independent audit and tax services

Coordination of corporate insurance policies, claims reporting and renewals

Coordination of Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Payroll

Coordination of dialy cash reporting and monitoring

Development and management of a client profitability system

A qualified applicant will be a team builder with excellent people, communication and leadership skills. Computer skills are required, as are organizational skills and problem solving skills.
