Acabo Recruiting Services client seeks a Division Controller for its Mobile, Alabama location.  The position is responsible for all accounting and finance functions including:

·         Financial reporting to corporate headquarters on a monthly and annual basis

·         GAAP compliance for all accounting data and GL data integrity

·         Fixed assets accounting

·         State and local tax filings

·         Licenses and municipal fees and other regulatory compliance

·         Client assistance preparation for external and internal audits

·         Supervision of clerical accounting staff responsible for operational accounting functions

·         Submission of payroll data to corporate headquarters

Qualifications for this position include:

·         Bachelors degree in Accounting or related business discipline

·         Five or more years of experience as an Accounting Manager or higher position with responsibilities for similar duties

·         Preference for candidates with an active CPA license
