Diversified real estate holding and management company with residential and commercial interests in New York City, throughout the US, and Europe seeks a Controller for its NYC Midtown office. (120-150K plus) Properties include large ranches in Montana, undeveloped property in Florida, Estates in Scotland, residential in Paris, etc. Company has been in existence since the early 1970's and is looking for a highly experienced professional to oversee all finance and operations. Responsibilities: Oversee the company's national and international investment portfolio Manage banking relationships Review and approve weekly cash investment reports and monthly operating statements from division controllers Review annual financial statements for U.S. and overseas operations review and sign all annual tax returns for U.S. companies approve all outgoing expenditures Monitor over-all cash flow Monitor operating results to minimize U.S. tax liabilities Work with outside accounting and law firms Direct oversight of New York real estate operations Responsible for all internal and external corporate compliance Keys: CPA strongly preferred 10 plus years in Real Estate Strong finance, accounting, and operations experience Excellent communication and presentation For an immediate confidential interview, interested candidates should email Adam Stein at adam.stein@roberthalf.com.
