Immediate temporary opportunity for a full charge accountant/controller in Colorado Springs.  

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provide financial support to the CEO in all areas of operations, including but not limited to budgeting, product costing, capital, cost reduction, and variance, volume, and inventory reporting and analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Oversee financial reporting and consolidation for manufacturing operations Prepare the annual manufacturing operations budget and all related allocations of cost to manufacturing sites Coordinate and oversee annual product standard cost development at manufacturing sites to ensure accurate product costs Provide financial analysis and support as needed for capital requests, product reviews, acquisitions, divestitures, etc.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Cost analyses related to manufacturing process. Standard cost training and documentation

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Education required/ preferred:         

BS – Accounting/Finance, MBA

Experience:                                       

5 years manufacturing Accounting experience with an emphasis on cost accounting,

Skills/Competencies:
