Contract’s Manager
POSTION SUMMARY
Responsible for management and review of all customer contracts including product sales, service support plans, and asset management contracts, in addition to GSA and GPO contracts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Apply Life Science Corporate Contract Review requirement to resolve all escalated Term and Conditions or general contractual issues.
• Deploy knowledge of the State and federal government (GSA) contracting procedures to resolve GSA Terms and Conditions or general contractual issues.
• Interface with other Thermo Fisher Scientific Contract liaisons, factories, sales, service and Sales Order Entry and Asset Management personnel.
• Communicate changes in contracts to the appropriate field and factory personnel.
• Review sales orders and contracts for appropriate terms and conditions, and when needed, interface with Thermo Fisher Legal, Sales, and Order Processing to resolve any disputes
• Maintain Thermo Fisher’s compliance for all contracts
• Develop and maintain contract escalation process
• Development of new contract templates and packages in accordance with new service development and/or market demands
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in business related field, legal or contract administration course work preferred.
• Minimum five years experience in contract management or legal review
• Experience in Life & Laboratory Sciences and /or Healthcare industries desired
• Experience in continuous improvement environment with a track record of achieving productivity improvements year over year
