General summary:
Manage Legal Department functions associated with vendor and other contracting entities for various business units of company and its subsidiaries, including Legal, Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc
Your main duties and responsibilities:
1. Provide interpretation, guidance and risk assessment to management on matters of a contractual nature, serving as a primary point of contact within the Legal Department for all contract requests and related matters. 2. Negotiate, prepare, draft, and revise non-provider contracts, with guidance from General Counsel. 3. Create and maintain an accurate contract database for all contracts, retention and retrieval of contracts, and contract related documents such as proposals, contracts, subcontracts and deliverables (soft and hard copies), as well as ensure the integrity and security of all non-provider contract hard files. 4. Review and analyze reports regarding contract activity and performance to ensure appropriate contractual provisions are met. 5. Review and negotiate third party requests for revisions to contracts and revise contracts based on acceptable alternative provisions approved by General Counsel. 6. Responsible for coordinating meetings, determining and initiating follow-up as needed and working with various business units to define contract needs, scope and terms as well as ensuring compliance. 7. Review current contract systems and recommend continued systems improvements in order to streamline processes and improve functionality. 8. Work as a liaison to internal clients to ensure understanding of and adherence to appropriate policies, administrative procedures and practices. 9. Responsible for the management of special non-provider contract projects. 10. Other duties as assigned.

Required: Bachelor's degree Prior Work Experience: Required: A minimum of five years prior contract management experience in a corporate or governmental setting Specific Job Skills: Required: - Excellent analytic ability - Advanced knowledge of key legal contracting concepts and requirements - Ability to read and in interpret contract terms Other Job Requirements: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as in a team atmosphere while achieving desired results with minimal supervision - Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and deadlines - Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook mandatory; Access highly desired) and contract management software
