Job description:

The position entails preparing cost/price/business proposals, issuing solicitations, and negotiating and administering a wide spectrum of types/forms of contractual agreements. The Contracts Administrator will work with the government administrative contracting officer in obtaining consent to subcontract, which includes preparing the actual consent to subcontract request submitted to the ACO. Other responsibilities include the negotiation of terms and conditions, providing cradle-to-grave administration of the proposal/contract process, interfacing directly with counterparts of SRC's customers, and providing guidance and support to technical staff employees.

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Business or related field with three to five years experience involving the issuance and administration of contractual agreements and generation of cost/price proposals. The successful candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of/experience with contract/subcontract generation, interpretation and administration, as well as related law and regulations involving acquisition by DoD. Candidates must have experience using MS Office Suite with specific emphasis on MS Excel. Overnight travel may be required on an occasional basis.

Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
