What You'll Do
Perform basic contract administrative functions for classified/unclassified programs that impact all aspects of government contracting: Pre-Award (non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, proposal submission, etc.); Contract Award - Contract Administration (Terms & Conditions, Reps/Certs, gov't property, CLIN re-alignment, funding Mods, negotiating, resolving invoicing issues, CDRLs, negotiate gov't clauses, etc.); and Contract Closeout actions.Facilitate positive interactions with program mangers and other contract personnel in the department.Develop and maintain management level relationships with key customers.
What You'll Need
BS in a related field is preferred, plus 4 or more years of DoD contracting experience. Demonstrated background of legal, business, regulatory, and programmatic aspects of federal government subcontract management. Experience with DoD and/or major Aerospace prime contracts and subcontracts preferred. Experience developing and implementing comprehensive proposals to include: terms/conditions, Reps & Certs, negotiation strategies, PNMs, technical/price evaluation, etc. Experience with award fees, incentive fee contracts, cost reimbursement, fixed price, and T&M contracts preferred. Experience with all facets of pre-award planning/execution of multi-million dollars acquisitions, teaming arrangements and non-disclosure agreements with subcontractors to support short cycle acquisitions. Previous experience developing and implementing negotiation strategies with aggressive program offices preferred. Decisive leader with strong conflict resolution skills and able to adapt quickly in a changing business environment. Strong oral and written communications skills, computer fluency, agile and effective negotiator with clear oral and written explanations required. Must be able to work a variety of complex issues at one time with minimal direct supervisions. In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level will be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Master's degree or Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience. Two years of experience may be substituted for each year of education.
