Dresser Waukesha manufactures large, spark-ignited, gaseous fueled, reciprocating engines. We also package Enginator engine-driven generator sets. Our products are widely used in field gas compression, power generation and other mechanical drive applications. In addition, we are the only ASTM-listed manufacturer of the Cooperative Fuel Research (CFR) engine, used to test and qualify the octane and cetane value of gasoline and diesel fuel. Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Draft contract proposals with sourcing teams to translate MOUs (Memos of Understanding) into long term alliance agreements and interface with Dresser Corporate Legal department for final review.
2. Work closely with Sales and Finance developing sales contracts.
3. Maintain contract data base and the negotiable issues master template.
4. Advise team of rebates, contract compliance and provides recommendations on MOU verbiage.
5. Perform financial analysis and report preparation of on-going costs, savings, budget preparation, sourcing and re-sourcing activities, TCO modeling and program savings.
6. Work closely with Procurement to maintain necessary Country of Origin records in compliance with government regulations.
7. Provide subject matter expertise in Import compliance including but not limited to: calculation of landed cost, assists, importer of record, duty drawback, and impact of consigned inventory agreements.
8. Work closely with Procurement to ensure that proper import compliance business processes are developed and operating.
9. Evaluate supplier financial condition and perform supplier compliance screening.
10. Assist in the preparation of Appropriation Requests.
11. Assist Operations Finance in asset tracking management (tools, patterns, etc).
12. Ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance in Procurement.
13. Evaluate business decisions pertaining to foreign exchange rates and commodity indexing including impact on assists.
Educational Background Required:
-Bachelor degree in Finance or Business Administration/Business Law.
Work Experience Required:
-3-5 years financial experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
-Minimum 1-2 years contract administration experience is required.
-Strong financial analysis and quantitative skills.
-Working understanding of import/export compliance, contract management and business law.
-Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word Excel, Access and Project).
