Position Description/Responsibilities:
Candidate must have a government SCI Clearance.
The Contract Manager provides overall contract management support for government contracts. The position includes supporting the preparation and submission of proposals, the negotiation and formation of contracts/business agreements, and the administration of contracts/business agreements through closeout. The individual acts as the primary customer interface representing the company on all contractual matters. They are a key member of proposal and program teams providing evaluation and advice on contractual matters to those teams and associated management
• Responsible for contract review, contract execution and internal release of contract summaries.
• Provides contract administration including formal and informal customer correspondence, resolution of customer problems, contract modifications and contract closeout. Responsible for all contractual issues related to a program/contract.
• Supports proposal preparation (new pursuits, contract mods, budgetary estimates) including direct responsibility for addressing all contractual requirements within customer requests (such as Terms and Conditions, Representations and Certifications). Advises proposal teams and management on contractual issues and strategies. Responsible for review of offers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Plans negotiation strategy with core team and leads contract negotiation activities.
• Addresses contractual compliance with U.S. Government regulations.
• Supports contractual requirements and acts as customer interface for business agreements (nondisclosure, teaming, etc).
• Addresses internal requirements for documenting, tracking, and reporting all contractual related information.
Critical Skills and Expertise:
• Must be able to effectively apply a strong working knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition regulations (FAR, DFAR) to maximize business financial results, minimize business risk and achieve outstanding customer and internal client satisfaction. Also requires understanding of financial and legal aspects of contracts.
• Experience working within a classified environment.
• Strong computer skills utilizing Contract Management databases (FilemakerPro) and MS Office applications required.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required as this position involves daily interaction with customers and multiple levels of company personnel.
• Individual must be organized, flexible, proactive, able to act independently, and willing to accept significant responsibility.
• Experience with cost reimbursement and T&M type contracts.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Experience Required:
Minimum 10 years direct experience in US Government contract management.

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government nature of job
