Continuous Polymerization Engineer: This position is located at our Charleston, South Carolina faciltiy.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Provide hands-on technical and process support to operations in a polyester Staple/Resin continuous polymerization area Troubleshoot production problems and provide timely corrective and preventive actions Monitor and enhance day to day operations of area Implement process improvement and reliability initiatives Maximize efficiencies and yields at low cost while maintaining product quality This position will also provide process/engineering support and leadership for capital projects. You will interact with site/business operations Respond to business and customer needs Above all, you must ensure that all your activities are carried out with integrity and in a safe and efficient manner.

Skill Requirements:

B.S. in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university. 5+ years of technical experience in a continuous manufacturing environment Specific experience in Polyester Staple/Resin Processes (Continuous Polymerization) would be an asset Strong engineering and analytical skills Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment with all personnel regardless of function/level. Strong organization and planning skills. Results oriented. Ability to translate key area and business needs into the right priorities and actions
