Nintendo of America Consumer Service Representative / Tech Support Rep

Nintendo of America is seeking enthusiastic candidates to fill several contract consumer service representative positions. You will act as a definitive source of information on system set up, operation, troubleshooting, and general information for many Nintendo products including the hottest gaming system on the market, the Nintendo Wii.

Your position in this fun, active and energetic environment begins with 2 weeks of paid training.  This position is a great opportunity for college students or for those looking for extra summer work.  Consumer Service Representative Peak Time Part Time (PTPT) Program was established to help offset heavy call volume during the busiest times, which are mostly when students are out of school.  During the school year you will be working 12-25 hours per week. During school breaks your hours will range from 20-40 hours per week.

As a successful candidate you will need the ability to navigate the internet and have a strong interest in technology and the gaming industry.  The Nintendo Contact Center is open 6am-7pm, 7 days a week.  Shifts will include weekend hours.

Pay Rates: $10.50/hr during training.  Upon successful completion of the training (2 weeks in classroom and 3 weeks on the job training) the pay rate increases to $11.50 per hour Mon-Fri and $13.20 Sat-Sun.

As a Consumer Service Representative you will be assisting consumers with a variety of calls:
•Questions regarding set up of the Nintendo game systems.
•Basic troubleshooting for an inoperative game or system in order to determine if the problem can be resolved over the phone or needs to come in for repair.
•Answering consumer questions regarding specific Nintendo products and services.
•Documenting and forwarding consumer comments.
