Consumer Products Marketing Manager – Wal-Mart Acct.

 

            Manufacturer and distributor of multiple brands of consumer products into food, drug and mass market retail channels seeks a qualified candidate to manage established brands and accounts and provide category management services.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic and tactical management of the brands and accounts

Develop account specific sales and marketing strategies.

Develop creative promotional programs including cross promotion of different categories under any one brand

Responsible for customer specific pricing and P&L.

Account and market analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or industry experience

Solid business acumen including the ability to develop strategies, analyze and interpret reports, create financial budgets, business correspondence and presentations and proposals

Must have a successful track record in marketing to national retail chains.

Prior experience selling to Wal-Mart and using Retail Link. 

Self starter – able to work independently

Must be a creative thinker

Strong work ethic

Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and sales reporting software capabilities are required
