GENERAL DUTIES
Build a culture of understanding the customer and market trends as an imperative input to drive innovation and design the value propositions to be delivered to our customers and business clients.
Adapt BBVA Group methodology for the identification, analysis and monitoring of the consumer and market trends.
Export US best practices in the field of consumer and market research to BBVA Group.
1. Build the “US Consumer and Market Trends Observatory” and the “Barometer of Consumer and Market Trends” for the BBVA units in the US as an extension of these global corporate functions.
· Identify macro consumer and business trends and monitor them periodically.
· Conduct qualitative, ethnographic and quantitative studies using major industry external data bases.
· Research and collect qualitative and quantitative consumer and business sectors’ sources of information.
· Analysis and synthesis of consumer and business sectors trends.
· Develop behavioral predictive models.
· Create consumer quantitative information models.
· Moderate and analyze focus groups, brainstorming sessions, etc.
· Use new technologies (on-line, blogs, web 2.0…) in order to identify consumer and market trends.
· Spread the conclusions of the studies to the organization.
2. Research and study of specific future value segments
· Identify specific value segments of interest for the lines of business.
· Conduct behavioral consumer studies towards financial services and technology
· Identify along with the lines of business new business opportunities through the study of consumer and business segments behaviors and attitudes.
· Support the lines of business with the shape of a custom value proposition for specific segments based on the studies conducted.
· Spread the conclusions of the studies to the organization.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED
Minimum Bachelor degree in Sociology or Psychology studies.
Market Research techniques.
AMOUNT AND TYPE OF PRIOR EXPERIENCE RQUIRED
5-10 years of experience preferable in Consumer Goods Industry or Research Institute (Milward Brown, Nielsen,…)
SKILLS REQUIRED
Skills to understand predict and synthesize consumer and market trends.
It requires the ability to analyze multiple and often disparate data sources to draw meaningful conclusions.The role must establish usable connections to the lines of business in order to translate the insights into business opportunities.Strong orientation to detail and project deadlines.Respect for company, customer and employee proprietary, sensitive and confidential information.To send a resume, please email to:
