Consultant, Marketing Communications:
This Marketing Communications role provides Clinical Technologies with tools and resources that bring measurable value to our customers and differentiate us from our competitors. This position develops and maintains effective marketing communications strategies to support strategic business initiatives and sales efforts with a constant focus on customer needs.
Responsibilities include: developing and supporting marketing communication programs, developing customer case studies, developing and implementing sales communications programs (e-newsletter, web/voice casts, Sales Toolkit), coordination with Creative Services, Public Relations, Trade Shows, Events, Internal Communications, e-Business, The Center for Safety and Clinical Excellence and other departments, managing all projects to achieve target timelines, supporting and aligning with the Cardinal Health brand and One Cardinal Health integrated message.
Activities include, but are not limited to: facilitating the creation of communications materials (case studies, newsletters, presentations, reports, brochures, catalogs, interactive tools, website, etc.), supporting trade shows, special product promotions, and developing new marketing program opportunities for Clinical Technologies, specifically the Alaris® product brand and infusion product line.
Partner with Marketing to develop marketing material in an effort to create awareness, drive top line sales and retain existing customer base Develop and support sales communications programs for Clinical Technologies Initiate, develop and execute marketing communication plans with input from manager and business unit Develop and support the implementation of internal and external communication campaigns used in conjunction with the deployment of product/program releases Support development of marketing materials that emphasize the Voice of the Customer (e.g., case studies, testimonials) Support the development of messaging for Clinical Technologies that aligns with current industry issues and One Cardinal Health messages Coordinate with Creative Services, Public Relations, Trade Shows, Events, Internal Communications, e-Business, The Center for Safety and Clinical Excellence and other groups Follow and be an advocate for corporate branding initiatives Support event and trade show marketing efforts in regards to identifying graphics and overall messaging Standardize work processes and advise of ongoing issues and priorities Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Marketing or Communications (or equivalent experience) 2-3 years marketing/communications experience; Business to Business healthcare and/or technology background preferred. Experience implementing marketing communications programs that support and help meet a company’s business objectives Strategic thinker and project manager who can act independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment Ability to absorb, understand and communicate complex technical information in ways that are appropriate to each of the company’s key audiences. Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities while maintaining deadlines and budget requirements Excellent organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic understanding of the advertising and design industries Strong attention to detail and negotiation skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills Demonstrates a high level of flexibility, energy and initiative Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of management Proficient at MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint software; experience with Dreamweaver a plus.This position is part of the Global Communications department and reports to the Manager of Marketing Communications.
