Management Consultant - Back Bay Strategies

As part of a project team, Back Bay consultants conduct research, physician and scientist interviews, and analyze data required to answer business strategy and marketing questions for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics and medical device industries. Consultants also play an essential role in preparation of PowerPoint-based client reports. Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written, are a must. For medical marketers, a strong track record of accomplishment generating and using market research is essential. For scientists, a successful track record teaching (as part of a M.S., Ph.D. or post doctoral program) forecasts success at this position. Candidates should possess the ability to function efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

For medical marketers and market researchers, minimum requirements are three to five years of experience in market research and/or marketing at a pharmaceutical or biotech company (or agency). For scientists, a Ph.D. or M.S. in life sciences (not engineering or chemistry) and multiple years of bench science experience in industry or academia are required for this position.
