Position SummaryAs a consultant at RightNow you will ensure customer satisfaction through effective delivery of professional services. This requires gathering and understanding their business requirements and assisting them in the configuration and testing of the RightNow product.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollowing are summary descriptions of the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
Become an expert in the core components of RightNow’s solution suite, including Service, Sales, and Marketing Automation Deliver consulting service offerings that are part of RightNow Technologies’ core offerings Support ongoing implementations Ensure that clients take advantage of RightNow best practices Provide project guidance during customer implementation Work with other departments in RightNow (Customer Service, Hosting, Development, Sales) to meet customer expectations Identify opportunities to position other service offerings Ensure customers are extremely satisfied with RightNow products and services they’ve providedDemonstrate an understanding of the RightNow Customer Success Methodology, andPerform other duties as assigned by your manager.Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and BackgroundThe following background is required:
Excellent organization, time management, and communication skillsAbility to scope technical issues and requirements either on-site or remotelyAbility to travel up to 100%, including international travelKnowledge of Internet technology and operationsWorking knowledge with at least one of the following business areas:· Sales/Marketing
· Engineering/Development
· Business/Financial Analysis
· Project Management
Knowledge and exposure to the following technical areas:· HTML and PHP programming
· UNIX (Linux and/or Solaris) administration
· Microsoft SQL Server 7 or above
· Oracle version 8 or above
· MySQL
· C, C++, C#, and
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and BackgroundThe following background is preferred:
· 2-3 years experience with a leading CRM application (e.g., Siebel, PeopleSoft, Remedy, Salesforce.com, e.Piphany)
· Working knowledge of all components of RightNow solution suite, and
· Bachelors degree in computer science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
