The Account Consultant, Presource, through relationship building, assesses customer needs and delivers supply chain solutions to hospitals and IDNs through supply consolidation. This role has responsibility for:
Maintaining accountability for presource business gross profit dollar volume generated regionally for non-sterile kits, minor procedure trays, custom procedure trays and procedure based delivery systermsInitiating business growth in various hospital departments, including surgical services, labor and delivery, cath/radiology lab, and main patient floors Bachelor degree in marketing or a related field, or an equivalent comgination of education and experience required5+ years of previous medical sales experience requiredKnowledge of the convertors products and/or surgical specialties business preferredKnowledge of customer service and hospital sales Strong financial skills Excellent interpersonal, communication and team building skills Strong skills using MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook Excellent written and verbal skills Ability to sell, persuade, and negotiate Ability to interpret customer needs and business challenges Ability to listen effectively, interpret customer needs and business challenges to build rapport Ability to develop and maintain high-level customer relationships Ability to provide excellent customer service Ability to prioritize and organize work and schedules Ability to pay strong attention to detail Ability to be results oriented Ability to self-motivate Ability to travel frequentlyCardinal Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including 401K and tuition reimbursement.
