General Contractor serving the DC Metropolitan Region with a diverse commercial construction project portfolio is looking for several experienced candidates to join our team for the position of project manager, superintendent and quality control manager. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry and have a working knowledge of Primavera and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Candidates should be hard working, detail oriented, possess strong communication and leadership skills and be detail oriented.
The following provides a description of the general nature and level of work to be performed by individuals in the positions advertised and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities and skills required for these positions.
Construction Superintendent: (2 positions available)
1. Oversee all field operations to ensure work is being performed in compliance with contract documents and on schedule;
2. Supervise, coordinate and schedule subcontractors and job site operations on a day to day basis;
3. Prepare accurate and detailed daily reports;
4. Assist with preparation of monthly schedule updates;
5. Assist Project Manager with monthly progress meetings and preparation of meeting minutes;
6. Enforce safety and quality control policies;
7. Oversee all subcontractors and trades;
8. Maintain presence on project site;
9. Assist in the coordination and supervision of self performed site work and concrete work; and
10. Report to Project Manager and Senior Project Manager as necessary.
