Fast growing commercial construction company in business since 1981 is looking for a construction superintendent to handle new Hotel construction projects in Texas for a longtime client Baywood Hotels.  DD&B Construction Inc. is selective in its hiring and is looking for someone whom can fit the organizations culture of hard-work, honesty, and professionalism.

Position:   CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Location:   SAN ANTONIO TEXAS
Project:  Ground Up New Hotel Construction

Position Start:   Immediate

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities: 

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications Familiar with all construction types: Wood, Metal, Plank Experience with project management of commercial construction projects Coordinate and monitor subcontractors Make purchase orders and product scheduling Responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules Responsible for interfacing with project owners Responsible for working and supporting Project superintendent Able to write and administer subcontracts Review and handle shop drawings process Work with project superintendent to handle onsite issues and questions Contact architect and engineers for RFI’s or questions Main point of contact for project inquiries and responsibilities from overall project perspective

 

Qualifications:

Commercial construction experience within construction of Hotels, Offices, Warehouses, etc.. Knowledge and ability to read and understand cosntruction specs and drawings
