Baker’s Phoenix office opened in 1986 with only four employees. Since that time, rapid growth in the Phoenix Metropolitan area has created the need for new and improved infrastructure, and in turn, exciting new opportunities for Baker employees. Now, with over eighty people, Baker’s Phoenix office has four service lines, including Transportation Engineering, Water Resources, Architecture/Facilities and Environmental Services. Through these lines, Baker provides services in the areas of transportation planning and design, structural, architectural and planning, environmental, water resources, geospatial technologies and construction services.
The Construction Specialist will be responsible for all field construction activities, including overall project site management and adherence to scheduled budget and specifications.
Requirements:
Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technologies At least seven years experience as a Resident Engineer, Construction Inspector or Project EngineerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSupervisory experience in various construction positionsMicrosoft Word and Excel; AutoCAD and MicrostationExcellent organizational and planning skillsMust be willing to travelPreferences:
