Full-Time Position: Construction Project Superintendent

Company:

Valor Field Services, Inc. is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business performing Construction General Contract work for local commercial and government projects throughout Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Ohio.

Description:

This individual will be responsible for:

· On-site management

· Job- site supervision and construction of the assigned project.

· Accountable for job site safety, quality assurance, and assisting with the

project schedule.

o Organization and tracking of all the quality control and logistic documents.

· Daily paperwork including but not limited to daily reports, site inspection reports,

and time sheets.

· Responsible for the everyday activities jobsite during construction.

o Ensure that the subcontractors follow the required standards defined by the

contract documents.

o Ensure the project schedule is followed according to plan.

o Assist the Project Manager with the weekly and monthly meetings with all

subcontractors involved in the construction.

o Coordinate with Project Manager and implement solutions to the encountered

problems during the construction.

o Interaction with property owners and public officials during construction.

· Reports to the Project Manager.

Requirements:

Practice sound positive leadership to promote teamwork at all times.

• Bachelor degree in construction management. Equivalent related work experience

accepted.

• Experience working on government projects a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of construction supervisory experience.

• Demonstrated ability to manage several activities at once, to organize / prioritize work,

to meet deadlines and to prepare reports.

• The ability to interface effectively and collaborate with customers, peers, contractors,

regulatory agencies and all levels of management is key

• Demonstrated leader in safety

• Experience in quality management / quality control processes

• Driver’s License required
